Vision

To eradicate unemployability by building a scalable Skills and Livelihood business that significantly enhances the earning capacity of the Learners. What we do is not just about skills, qualifications, or jobs. It's about tapping individual potential to help people develop the skills to find meaningful and sustainable employment.

Mission

It was clear that Skill India was shaped based on the learning of misgivings of the previous two attempts. We have three distinct problems: matching (connecting demand to supply), mismatch (repairing supply for demand) and pipeline (preparing supply for demand).

  • Upgrade skills to national standards through significant industry involvement and develop necessary frameworks for standards, curriculum and quality assurance.

  • Enhance, support and coordinate private sector initiatives for skill development through appropriate Public-Private Partnership (PPP) models; strive for significant operational and financial involvement from private sector.

  • Play the role of a 'market-maker', particularly in sectors where market mechanisms are ineffective or missing.

  • Prioritise initiatives that can have a multiplier or catalytic effect as opposed to one-off impact.
